Development Feasibility Assessments – Risk Prediction
Our extensive experience within the Tasmanian environmental planning and approvals framework (including all levels of government) has given us in depth knowledge of how likely your proposal is to be successful (e.g. will you be able to build on a block you are considering buying?).
We can conduct feasibility assessments to provide you some surety as to whether a project may be successful, and outline potential costs, timeframes and the process required should you chose to pursue a project.
Within areas of land already under consideration for development, we have a sophisticated multivariate approach for screening predicted natural values constraints and relative risks, in order to prioritise areas for avoidance and identify lowest risk areas for development. The method provides a map of relative risk, with weightings for species of higher risk and an intensity gradient to identify areas where multiple variables overlap. Through this method proponents gain an early advantage in planning the lowest risk pathway for their project.
